Much maligned and misunderstood, these were the hard mods of the 60s who rejected the peacock styling of that particular scene and instead adopted the uniform of their working-class background. Work boots, braces, jeans, short hair and a love for Jamaican Blue beat, this movement went onto inspire the late 70s 2Tone.
